Comprehensive Support for Moms-to-be
There's nothing quite like the amazing experience of having a child. And yet, as precious and priceless as your pregnancy is, it will also demand a lot from you physically, emotionally, and financially. Helping you and your baby meet the many different challenges of your pregnancy is what the Pregnancy Maintenance Initiative is all about.
The program is offered exclusively to residents of Shawnee County and is partially funded by a grant from the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. We can assist you in getting the following services:
Pre-and-post natal medical care
Dental care
Vision care
Behavioral health care including substance abuse treatment
Referrals to services for housing, employment and food assistance
Transportation assistance
Parenting classes
Doula support
Assistance with insurance coverage including Medicaid and CHIP
Finding resources to help with other children
