Global Pandemic, Drinking Epidemic
There’s no question that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused an increased level of stress and anxiety in our lives. The disruption to everything from work to social activities will leave long lasting scars emotionally, spiritually and physically. Our regular coping skills have been stretched and exhausted, leading many to find alternative ways to handle the increased worries faced every day.
The Invisible Minority
They are the forgotten people we can’t afford to forget. They huddle in the shadows and blend into the concrete. Nameless because we do not know them and faceless because we do not see them, they are the homeless, as human as human gets, yet living lives exposed and vulnerable as stray animals.
Celebrating within your means
This year’s holiday season is going to look a lot different for many of us. With COVID-19 concerns, some families will choose not to gather. And because of the pandemic, many are without jobs and facing dire financial situations.
