We are a Christ-centered, non-profit community health center providing access to quality health care for all residents of Wichita, Sedgwick County and south central Kansas.
We accept Medicare, HealthWave, Medicaid and most commercial health insurances. People without health insurance are charged for services on a sliding fee scale based on household income. Browse through the menu options above or call us to see how we can help meet your health care needs.
Optometric Services
Dr. Jacquelyn Smith, O.D. has joined Gracemed. She can provide:
- yearly eye exams
- exam to determine need for glasses and health of the eye
- spectacle Rx exam
- diabetic eye exam
- At this time GraceMed is not able to perform contact lens-related services
Prenatal Care

If you’re pregnant, your first trimester comes with a lot of questions and changes. It is important to ask questions early in your pregnancy. Schedule your prenatal appointment today to discuss what you should expect from your pregnancy.
Earlier this year, GraceMed received a grant of $500,000 towards the cost of building a new school-based clinic at Dodge Elementary School in west Wichita. Total cost for clinic construction is $850,000. This new clinic will serve uninsured/underinsured children and adults in the area. In fact, we discovered that 76% of the 2,409 children enrolled in 6 west Wichita schools including Dodge qualify for the federal free/reduced lunch program. Most of these children will also qualify for HealthWave and have easy access to both medical and dental care once the clinic is built.
