Hours of operation
GraceMed Capitol Family Clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to 5pm.
The clinic has extended hours on Thursdays from 10am to 7pm.

Meet the Capitol Family Team
Mark Barber, DO
Education: University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Barber grew up in a small town in western Kansas. The town's primary care physician was a big part of his life, and his early experiences with health care are his primary reason for wanting to be a doctor. Dr. Barber looks forward to servicing families in the Topeka area at GraceMed.
Holly Blick, RDH
Education: University of Missouri Kansas City
Holly became passionate about delivering care to underserved populations during her her time at UMKC-SOD. Her commitment to improving people's access to care and to improving their oral health led her to GraceMed, where she'll expand outreach efforts in Topeka. In her free time, Holly enjoys outdoor activities with her family. She's an active member of the community and in professional organizations, like the Kansas Dental Hygiene Association and the Oral Health Kansas Coalition.
Shawna Huffman, DMD
Education: University of New England College of Dental Medicine, University of Kansas
Dr. Huffman is a native Kansan. She enjoyed spending four years in Maine to attend dental school. Dr. Huffman's hobbies include snow skiing, hiking, baking, listening to music, and reading. She loves to smile, dance, and laugh. She is a wife and a mother to two sons.
Beverly Miller, APRN
Education: University of Missouri, Maryville University, East Central College
Beverly joined GraceMed because she liked its faith-based mission. She became a nurse practitioner to help people, and she feels she can do that best at GraceMed.
Kaitlyn Modean, RDH
Education: Manhattan Area Technical College
Kaitlyn is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health. She's proud to be a part of the GraceMed family to help serve the underserved. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and being at the lake.
Lacey Randa, DDS
Education: Emporia State University, University of Iowa College of Dentistry
Lacey enjoys getting to know her patients and improving their oral health. Her goal is to make them feel comfortable and at ease while in the dental chair. Lacey likes to educate her patients as much as possible so they can make informed decisions about their health. In her free time, Lacey loves playing tennis and going for walks with her husband and their dog. She's a big sports fan; You can always find her cheering for the Chiefs and the Royals.
Serena Sagray, MSN, CNM, WHCNP-BC
Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery
Education: University of Southern California, Frontier Nursing University
Before joining GraceMed, Serena provided medical care for underserved women in San Antonio. She came to GraceMed to further our mission to provide quality, holistic care to those who need it most. Serena is deeply committed to delivering high quality women's healthcare in Topeka. Outside of work, Serena enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Susan Winegardner, APRN-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Education: University of Missouri-Kansas City, Baylor University
Being a nurse practitioner at GraceMed gives Susan the opportunity to do what she loves every day: meeting people, supporting them during their tough times, and showing them Jesus' love. In the care that she provides to families, she offers support to the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. When she's not at work, Susan enjoys being involved in her church, volunteering in community projects, and reading mystery novels.
Rita Zeller, LSCSW
Clinical Social Worker
Education: Kansas State University, Washburn University
Rita feels blessed to be a part of GraceMed, and she looks forward to empowering patients to build resilience in the face of adversity. She believes that our faith is our strongest coping skill and welcomes the opportunity to serve others. Rita lives with her husband and three kids on their family ranch. She enjoys spending time outdoors.
