Coronavirus Message

A Word to Our Patients About COVID-19

To our GraceMed community:

All of us here at GraceMed would like you to know that we are committed to confronting the COVID-19 pandemic with all the resources our 16 clinics can muster. The safety and well-being of our patients in Wichita, Topeka, McPherson, and Clearwater continues to be our top priority.

We have always provided the highest standard of sterilization protocol. Due to concerns with the Coronavirus, we have taken additional measures to ensure a healthy environment for you and your family:

  • We are sanitizing all our facilities more frequently;
  • We are working to ensure that hand sanitizer is always available for patients in all of
    our lobbies;
  • To reduce the risk of exposure, we have temporarily removed all magazines, toys, and
    books as well as touchscreen devices like iPads and electronic games.

As you probably are aware, there is no current treatment for COVID-19.

Our primary focus is on containing the spread of the infections. That’s why we have started a procedure to check patients for fever as they arrive at our clinics. We have now started checking the temperature of all of our patients who are coming for medical, dental, optometry, podiatry and lab services. We do this as they arrive at the entrance to each of our clinics. We will also be making testing available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for our Wichita patients starting Monday, March 23rd. For questions about our testing, please click here.

You can help to contain the spread of the virus by doing the following:

  • If you have symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, including fever, cough, shortness of
    breath or any flu-like symptoms, please call before coming to GraceMed.
  • If you have an appointment, please follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing and
    refrain from bringing any additional family members if at all possible.
  • For additional information on coronavirus prevention and preparedness, please visit this link.

We deeply appreciate your cooperation with these best practices. Although there is much that we still don’t know about this virus, we do know that, if we all work together to limit the potential for exposure, we can drastically reduce its impact.

As a faith-based health ministry, all of us at GraceMed serve our patients with a sincere desire to share the love of Christ through the care we provide. We pray for his protection and provision for you and your love ones during this challenging time, and we ask that you remember us and all healthcare workers in your prayers as well. May God bless us all with the strength of mind, body, and spirit to serve each other well.

May God Bless and Keep you,

Venus Lee
CEO, GraceMed Health Clinic, Inc.
