Healthier families mean healthier communities and economies. That's what is really on the menu at Hotcakes for Hopecare.
Every year tens of thousands of Wichitans rely on GraceMed for their healthcare because they are uninsured, underinsured or just unable to afford a doctor bill. Thousands more don’t get the care they need at all, a tragedy that takes its inevitable toll on their health and eventually has an impact on all of us.
One important way GraceMed is able to provide these services is through the generosity of a business community that sees the value of supporting the care we provide. Hotcakes for Hopecare is just such an opportunity.
Graciously hosted by Jimmie’s Family Diner, this benefit breakfast brings businesses and hungry patrons together to have some fun, mingle with some local, celebrity servers and help fund the care of low-income families throughout Wichita. Q92 will broadcast live from the event, and Mayor Jeff Longwell will be serving hotcakes.
Tickets are just $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
If you can't make it, but you still want to support quality healthcare for medically underserved residents of Wichita, please consider making a donation using the form below.
Why we call it "hopecare"
Hopecare means having faith that together we change the future for the healthier.
The medical care provided at GraceMed has a wide impact in our community. When you can restore someone’s health, smile or well-being, the effects can be felt in the contribution they can make to their families, their community and the future of the world around them. That’s especially true for someone on the fringes of our healthcare grid. That’s why supporting GraceMed is about more than supporting healthcare.
